A random collection of quotes and short films

(Mainly collected from Quora with much joy and gratitude)

“Be kind. Everyone you meet is facing a hard battle that you know nothing about.” Plato
People will forget what you said, they will forget what you did but they never forget how you made them feel.
Ego says, “Once everything falls into place, you will find peace”. Spirit says, “Find your peace, and then everything will fall into place.”    -Marianne Williamson
If you are walking through hell, keep walking, this too shall pass…
There are a lot of ways to neutralize your enemy. Forgiving him is the first of all.
Don’t look for bumper-sticker wisdom or think that life is summarizable in a quote on Facebook or Quora. Look for real teachers who will ask you to die so that you may live and seek what the Masters sought, don’t read only a snippet of what they said. Real teachers don’t teach with quotes; they teach with their life as the example, their heart as a welcome mat, and their hands engaged in giving.

Having said this… here comes the rest…

“The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.
It will make or break a company… a church… a home.
The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past… we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you… we are in charge of our Attitudes.

The World of EHS according to Silverster Stallone (be ready to get punched in the face)

Who are we? We find that we live on an insignificant planet of a humdrum star lost in a galaxy tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe in which there are far more galaxies than people.

— Carl Sagan (Astronomer, Astrophysicist)

No ego, no problem. Old Buddhist proverb.

And now for the gallery… Read 1 or 2, come back tomorrow, repeat step 1.
